MY FIRST JOB INTERVIEW

In my second semester, the most exciting thing I have experienced in recent years happened to me. I was on my way to the university and on the way my bus passed by a little school that is near my house, I noticed that they were looking for a janitor, without paying any attention I let it pass by, but I kept passing by and I kept seeing that sign, until one night I decided to go for it. The next morning I took the bus and I stayed in that little school, I saw a lady at the entrance, she asked me what I needed and I told her that I was looking for the janitor position and she told me to wait because the principal was not there, I entered and waited in the rectory when I saw that the same teacher who attended me at the port was the principal of the school and my first job interview began.

As I do not have a printer at home and the resume had not been printed I showed it to her on my laptop that I had loaded at the time, she began to read it and after a while she began to ask me some questions and said to me:

- Look for the janitor position I can't hire you because of your schedule issue because I need you to clean for me both in the morning and in the afternoon. (here I already started to put my sad face, it was my first interview and I had been told no, but at that same moment she keeps talking and tells me. But I need an English teacher for a distance learning school that I have here on weekends, would you be interested in the position?) I was overwhelmed with happiness, it was my first job interview and by the way there began my adventure with my first job. I started from that moment with my experience as a teacher, I began to give classes to people older than me, my first students were between 24 to 41 years old, being the teacher I was younger than them, but I do not complain, they never disrespected me and always fulfilled my homework, it was a pleasant experience. Currently I am working with the same rector who gave me an opportunity and because she believed in me, since the previous school period I am living a new teaching which is to teach now not to adults, but to children I teach from first to seventh grade and I have loved the experience. This event has taught me to love my career, to strive for what I want, and to continue advancing in my experience to become a good teacher in the future.
